Block Kids Building Competition

The Block Kids Building Competition is a NAWIC educational program designed to introduce children to the construction industry through a fun and engaging hands-on experience. Open to elementary school students, the competition challenges participants to use LEGO-style building blocks, along with other materials like string, foil, or paper, to create structures that reflect real-world construction concepts. Judges, including industry professionals, evaluate entries based on creativity, practicality, and design. PIZZA POP & POWER TOOLS

Pizza, Pop & Power Tools is a hands-on educational event organized by the Guam Contractor's Association in collaboration with NAWIC Guam Chapter #381, to introduce young women to careers in the construction industry. Aimed at middle and high school girls, the event provides participants with the opportunity to learn about various trades through interactive workshops, tool demonstrations, and mentorship from industry professionals. Attendees get hands-on experience using power tools, building small projects, and gaining insights into construction-related careers. Along with enjoying pizza and refreshments, the event fosters confidence and inspires young women to explore non-traditional career paths in construction.
